Historic Rock Castle is a perfect setting to capture lasting memories through Photography! The 1784 Tennessee limestone mansion is an exquisite backdrop for any style of photos, and every angle offers a unique vignette. If you would like something a little more rustic, the rusted tin roof and the aged limestone of the Smoke House add a perfect charm to any photo. The masterfully designed Gardens provide a stunning backdrop, and our Woodland areas offer serene natural settings for a touch of whimsy. And all of this sits on 18 picturesque acres on Old Hickory Lake. Whether you are doing family photos, senior portraits, an Engagement or Bridal shoot, or anything in between, Historic Rock Castle offers a beautiful and unique setting for every occasion!

In-Hours
Individual Photo Sessions (one subject/family) that take place within business hours are $25 per hour. No partial hours. All guests must be off-Site promptly by 4pm.
Business hours:
Tuesday - Friday: 10am - 4pm
Saturday: 10am - 2pm
Sunday & Monday: Closed
*Please note, Rock Castle often closes early (especially on weekends) for private events. Reservations are required.

After-Hours
Photo sessions that take place outside business hours are $75 per hour (no partial hours) and require a reservation at least one week in advance. After-hours will include any time after 4pm.
Reservations for outside business hours are subject to staff availability.
A $25 non-refundable deposit is due at time of reservation. Payment in full is due 24 hours in advance.

Mini-Sessions
Mini-sessions or Multi-Subject Shoots are $200 for 4 hours within business hours, no partial hours. Set up and clean-up must be completed in that 4 hours, or additional hours need to be booked.
